Q: 2nd trimester uterine arteries ultrasound

I just received a letter from the hospital ordering a uterine arteries ultrasound, has anyone had this done before and why?
I thought my last scan would be the morphology scan where they told me everything looked great but now i'm not sure.
I do have a small uterus and have read they only order these when they are concerned about the growth of the baby.

It could be that they couldn't see/determine where the umbilical cord inserts into the placenta. That's an absolute guess, but it's the only one I've got!
