Q: Crinone for progesterone

This is my first pregnancy. The doctor prescribed me crinone because he said my progesterone levels were really low which leaves me at high risk for miscarriage. I took them and finished. I need to pick up a refill. Has anyone else used this and had a successful pregnancy? I wont be able to see the doctor again until june.

I was on crinone daily until 14 weeks as well as progesterone injections until 11 weeks due to the crinone not being enough in my case. You should hustle to get that refill because progesterone is very important for supporting an early pregnancy. The placenta doesn't take over producing progesterone until around week 10 so if you don't take the crinone daily at the same time of day your progesterone levels can drop again and possibly lead to miscarriage.
