Hi there. How are you? I am so happy for you. First of all, Congratulations. Actually, I am always afraid of bad sights. Because I have caught by those sites many times. On the other hand, If you will tell them, may be your job be in risk. What your mother and husband suggests you? I have a thought to share with you. What if you have vomit or headache or stomachache in the office. Sometimes it is hard to hide such situations. Stay Blessed. Take care of your diet and health. I wish you good luck.

Hi there dear, how are you. I wish you a very good luck. My heart felt congratulations first of all to you. The question that you asked is making me laugh by thinking that after 3 months it could become obvious. loll. Well I think you must tell them now. Companies and organizations never wait for one person or employee. It is better to tell now. The reason behind this is that if they are planning to give you some long term project which you can't handle obviously in the near future than they must plan something else for that. This is the main reason. The other reason is your maternity leave. You have to give an application for that as well. Take care dear. Hope it's helpful for you.

I told my boss early because of previous losses. That way he would be understanding if I needed time off. I was so sick that there was no hiding it anyway. It's up to you. I also wasn't going to return to work, so I had a lot of training to do for my replacement. It's all up to and what fits your personal situation.

Thanks guys for the answers! I'm still fine for now (no sickness and all) but I sometimes feel like I should leave a little early due to tiredness or come in late (I open the office in the morning!) but I think my boss may not easily find a replacement for me....I will see what to do when time comes...Thanks

I told my boss at 9 weeks due to a physical training course that I couldn't participate in. I didn't want to though. I let my bump do the talking at 24 weeks for the rest of my coworkers. There were a very select few who knew that I was close to and talked to outside of the workplace. It's definitely up to you. Most people wait til after the first trimester due to miscarriage rates dropping after that. Personally I waited until viability because I had already been through 3 losses.

It's really up to you. Legally, you don't have to say anything until you're ready to go on leave. I don't know what kind of job you have or what kind of leave they offer you.

I told my boss really early because I've had morning sickness since I was four weeks, and still do now at 30 weeks. It was impacting my ability to get in to the office on time, so I let my boss know and made arrangements to come in a bit later. If your boss isn't as accommodating, you may be further ahead to wait until you feel like you can't handle it.
