Q: Clearblue Digital Says 3+ before it should do

Hi,

I found out I was pregnant 13 days ago - 7 days before my period was due. In the last 13 days I have taken several Clearblue Digital tests (the obsession grows) and every time the Clearblue Digital puts me ahead of where I should be. I am certain of my dates because I had my period on my wedding day (annoying).

I already have 3 lovely (most of the time) girls and we're super excited about having a 4th - just wondered if there might be a 5th in there too! Have heard that higher levels of HCG could mean twins? Has anyone had this experience and it was twins?

To be honest, whilst i'm certain of my period, i'm not overly certain when I ovulated, so I guess that could have come early! Just want to hear any stories like mine.

Other signs:

* Started to feel nauseous yesterday at (supposedly) 5 weeks and 2 days
* Overwhelming urge to repaint every room in the house ;-)

I am pregnant with twin girls and when I had my first O.B/G.Y.N I had very high HCG levels. So that means you are likely carrying twins!

I have 10 month old twins and when I found out I was pregnant my HCG was 1700 at 16/17 dpo. Not sure how that relates to other levels. My doctor didn't seem it was crazy high. I also never really had crazy bad symptoms. My doctor told me at my first appointment that it was going to get pretty horrible for me but I never had morning sickness. However, I think I may be the odd one because the other twin moms I know were very sick early on.

Are you kidding? My sanity has been long gone, I figure what difference does it make anymore :). We are thinking we don't know if we might do this one more time before we get much older...craziness

Congrats on your 4th, I, too, am expecting #4! I started getting nausea at 4 weeks, but there's only one. It's possible that higher hcg levels mean that, or it doesn't. Can't tell from that, but it will be fun for you to ponder on in the coming weeks :). You'll have to keep us updated on whether one or two! The only thing that will really give you the best answer on twins is an u/s.
