Q: HCG @ 4 weeks

Hi all, I know this has been asked plenty and I have read the charts, I honestly just want some recent words of wisdom and comfort from ladies who know the "struggle" ....
Quick history. I'm 36 and have been TTC my second baby (my only child is 10). So far this year I have had a ruptured ectopic which nearly killed me (after being sent home and told I have a UTI!!!)
That was followed three months later by a blighted ovum which took months to finally pass the "vascularized tissue" as the sonographer called it.
3 BD's this month later and whammy BFP. Naturally I'm in panic mode...is this my Rainbow baby? So without an ultrasound (scheduled for two weeks)
all I have to benchmark viability at ths stage is HCG.
Monday. 10 dpo . 3w3d HCG = 37
Wed. 12 dpo 3w5d HCG = 149
Friday. 14 dpo 4w HCG = 490

Yes I know the chart and the doubling is good yadda yadda yadda but I just want to hear from someone that this is hopeful. I'm scared and I just need some reassurance.

Betabase.info is an amazing site where thousands of real women have entered their beta info. It really helped my pregnant-after-loss (PGAL) brain early on while I was waiting on an ultrasound.

I've had 6 first trimester losses and I'm pregnant with what I hope is my rainbow baby after struggling with infertility and recurrent loss. It's been a long journey and needless to say I was, and still am to a lesser extent, absolutely TERRIFIED of another loss. I had a beta series drawn and then had my first ultrasound at 5w6d.

My beta numbers were:
23 at 11DPO
87 at 13DPO
743 at 17DPO

I just had my 9w5d ultrasound and baby is measuring 10w0d with a nice strong heartbeat. Everything looks great and my doctor is optimistic that this will finally be my rainbow baby.

Hopefully this is your rainbow baby also! Your numbers look good and are higher than mine were. Your doubling looks great! I know it's hard but try to hang on to whatever hope you can find. Today you're pregnant. <3

I had mine tested at 4 weeks and it was 300 and something. Two days later it was in the 600s. I"ll be 18 weeks tomorrow.

This is hopeful :) Those are great numbers, everything is progressing as it should right now. Those are higher than my early-pregnancy betas and I am holding strong at 33.5 weeks. I know it's hard to be optimistic when you've experienced loss, but for now all signs point to rainbow. Good luck!

I'm not sure what you're looking for for answers here. There's no other way to tell viability at this stage besides your doubling time which is fantastic. Wishing you the all the best
