Hey. So, you want to switch things and change the color of your hair. Then you remember that you are pregnant, and then begins to worry.
The truth is this: I could not find the definitive answer to the question of whether it is possible to use the dye during pregnancy.
There is not much data on whether chemical dyes are safe when you are pregnant. Although most researchers seem to agree that there is no harm in using the dye (with some cautions), I will give you the facts that I found so you can decide.
Hair dyes use hundreds of chemicals, and that's enough to be pretty sketchy when you're pregnant.
I think it should be good if you follow the safety instructions on the packaging, thoroughly wash your scalp and wear gloves during the application.

My Dr told me to make sure I get a good area for ventilation, but that it's ok. She preferred I go to a salon for better ventilation and they have better choices for pregnancy, however, that can get costly sometimes.

Most research suggests it's safe. Wear gloves and avoid getting dye on your scalp to reduce your risks.
