It is perhaps a highly rare chance to concieve while breastfeeding. I will rather say you got lucky here, because it is with just a few women that convieve after first having an IVF, and still breast feeding. Although, this might not be true until vefore yoy take a pregnancy test and verify with your gynaecologist. If this is the case, and you are happened to be naturally pregnant i will suggest you a very thoroughly taken care of pregnancy. Make sure you are safe at every point of time. And watch out for any or evrry symptom happening within your body.

It's possible.... if you had PCOS for example, your hormones may be different now. My eggs are rubbish, so damn sure that wouldn't happen for me!

I was EB my son and didn't have a period, then conceived my daughter. Breastfeeding is definitely not a contraceptive. I would take a test.

If you are nursing it should be more unlikely that you wouldn't conceive, but yes it happens to some women. If your baby has changed nursing schedules, for example, then it might get your cycle started or if you use the pump instead of actual suckling can sometimes do it. I personally don't start my cycle till 14 months postpartum, my best friend was like 6 months and that's because she also had to pump due to going back to work. And for me, I ovulate first when getting my cycle back so if concerned, take a test :). Good luck to ya!
