Q: Feel like I can't do this after everything I have been through

I am currently 7 weeks pregnant and it is with twins this time. The Dr said it seems that I might be bleeding in my uterus but it still freaks me out every time I pass blood. I had a sonar done yesterday and babies were doing great. I am just so worried and stressing all the time that something might happen. I just want to sit and cry all day long. I go back on Wednesday for a check up and another sonar. The Dr told me the bleeding will be worse with twins and i have a clotting disorder. Which is even worse I am a bleeder...

You will instantly feel better if you look at the brighter side of it. And as far as the bleeding is concerned, please always keep in contact with your doctor. You will have to take extra care for yourself. Bleeding can occur rigorously if you are under any kind of stress. It is always advisable if you do not take the stressful life for now and live happily. Take blood-related supplements and eat good food. Do not lift any heavy articles or drink. Even smoking can be dangerous for you. Do not walk for really long. Take 10 minutes walk in every hour. Do everything just for little durations. Not collective altogether. Extra care comes with extra awareness. Consult your doctor incase you feel un easy any moment. Anyway, any level of pain is worth it by the end of the day. Thanks and take care

welcome ladies,
I know it is not normal to be freaking out all the time, it rather feels anxious, and, tiring. So, I would first ask you to make your body rest a little. Too much of stress can be harmful to your body as well as to the babies growing inside you. You have to enjoy your pregnancy and not stress out about it. It seems unfair that you wanted a single child but there are two growing inside you. No one can't rule out God, can we? There is so much suffering in the world, already. There are couples who try so so so hard but end up in despair and are never able to conceive. So, please cherish your pregnancy, and, love your children. Not everyone gets that kind of love and chance. There is a fair chance of you not feeling the way that I did. But it is okay. Try to relax. The more relax you choose to stay, the lesser will you realize the pain. You can only end up bleeding more and worse if you always are stressed out. You should rather find activities to indulge in.

Thank you so much for your words. It does help. I was ready for one baby not two. I am very emotional and tired and queasy all the time. Think this is bringing me down. I need to get my head on straight. I was so stressed at the start wondering if I was having another ectopic as I was spotting to go and see it was in the uterus. Then had more spotting on Monday so I went Tuesday and the Dr said it's coming from somewhere in my uterus. So i was all good and happy then I had a bleed again and went the following day. That's when it was told and discover that it's twins. I am very blessed at the moment to be carrying twins. I do know this. Just need to get my head straight. I keep thinking reflux, prem babies, money. My son will be so overjoyed..

It's really hard not to stress but you just have to find something that keeps your faith/hope/whatever you want to call it that everything will be ok. I don't have a clotting disorder but I am a very heavy bleeder. I never experienced any bleeding with my twins and my c-section went fine so just know it is possible. I have known many ladies that had bleeding here and there or throughout their entire pregnancies and everything went fine. I freaked out almost every day in my early pregnancy until I was about 11 weeks and everything continued to go well! Good luck!

It was a total shock to me since I have only one fallopian tube! I am not suppose to be pregnant with twins. That's why I am in denial. Plus the worry. Glad I made it to 7 weeks. I had a sonar yesterday and that is when I was told that it's twins. So I know my babies are okay. I am resting as much as I can.

Congrats on the twins! The beginning of pregnancy is sooooo worrisome especially when you have any bleeding. All I can say is no matter what anyone tells you, you're going to worry. The good news is what the doc has told you, but somewhere in there you're going to have to try to let go a little so that stress doesn't hurt anything. Easy advice for me to give, meanwhile I don't seem to listen to my own advice, lol. Let's put it this way, you've got double the worry now, and you're high risk because it's twin. And the worry will never end even once they are here :). Just do what you are supposed to, eat right, rest when you can, and try to enjoy the beauty of pregnancy. GL to ya
