Q: Slow rousing hcg level

So I have had quite a few slow rising beta. However, they are rising just slowly. My number March 21 was 561 on March 24 930 and today 2070. The doctors Gave me the speech today about possible ectopic. I go in for an ultrasound on Friday. I've been searching the internet and the numbers are acceptable but they are just not rising 50% every 48 hours. So has anyone heard of "slow rising"hcg turning out ok? This is my first pregnancy after 5 years of trying.

Turns out I'm not ectopic. However baby is measuring behind. I am 6w2d and baby measured 5w3d. So doc gave me and my family the speech of miscarriage. I am scheduled next week for another ultrasound. This will probably be every week until improvement or miscarriage.
