Q: Has anyone had multiple subchorionic Hemorrhages during 1st trimester?

Im 8 weeks 4 days pregnant.I went in for an ultrasound yesterday because I woke up and used the restroom to find dark brown blood which would indicate it was old. I called my Dr and the had me go in for an ultrasound. They found 3 separate small hemorrhages around my baby. Baby looks fine and had a heart beat of 171. They say its not normal but they see it all the time and there is nothing you can do for it. You just have to wait to see if the progress or get smaller. I go back next week for another ultrasound to see what's going on. Has anyone had these and they cleared up? Do they get smaller and just go away? Has anyone went through this and still had a full term pregnancy and healthy baby? I'm nervous now.

Sorry that no one has answered this. I don't think that many people use this site and perhaps those that do haven't had the same problem, so can't advise you.

It's not a problem I've had either, but I do know a woman on a different site who has had similar issues. I know how worried she was throughout. I think she had additional bleeds in the 2nd tri too, but then things did settle down for a few weeks. She is now at 39w and is in early labour. Baby seems perfectly fine. :-)

Perhaps do a search and see what else you can find out about it? Good luck. x
