Q: Watery discharge after sex in the first trimester

Hello - I'm experiencing watery discharge and slight discomfort (almost a pulling) in my lower abdomen. I'm 9 weeks pregnant, strong heart beat of the baby and after having sex, I am experiencing water like discharge when I wipe after peeing and a slight discomfort on my lower right side. Should I call my doctor? Anyone experience this before? Freaked out!

The first trimester is usually the most crucial so you need to be extra careful and if this your first pregnancy you definitely need to take it easy and see how things go and move with the process naturally. the first trimester is the riskiest and needs to be given careful attention no matter what number of pregnancy you are on. Some doctors advise not to have sex in the first trimester and some not at all during pregnancy considering all the factors of your specific pregnancy and in case you do, you need to make sure you consult with your doctor before doing so and take the necessary precaution based on the condition. So you most definitely please consult with you doctor immediately and make sure that sex in pregnancy is ok.
