About Me

My husband and I have been TTC for a long time and due to my endometriosis, it seemed like it was never going to happen. ALL last year, instead of ovulating, my body would just create and rupture cysts on my right ovary. In Dec I had a LARGE cyst, that would not rupture, removed and had most of the endo, that she could get to, removed. She then put me on a monthly shot treatment that induced me into menopause. I took my last shot March 5th and didn't start my new cycle until May 21st. I used a fertility monitor to see when I would ovulate and it peaked on CD 15 which means I ovulated on CD 16. We didn't think that we'd succeed the first try since the surgery and treatment, but God has been SO good and blessed us with a surprise. We are beyond stoked and can't wait to meet this beautiful angel that we've waited so long for. This will truly be a miracle baby.

Baby Update: It's a BOY and he's extremely active and measuring above average already!! I really hope he doesn't meet or pass my birth weight! I still hold the record in my family for the biggest baby, and I really don't want to beat it. LOL!

We decided on the name Tristan James and we can't wait to meet him and see his gorgeous face!

Another Update: My last ultrasound at 28 weeks predicted that Tristan will arrive February 11th because he's getting so big so fast. DH is predicting last week of Jan or first week of Feb. Guess we'll see!! We're getting close!!! :-D

Update: So I'm past my original due date BUT they are inducing me this Sunday. YAY!! There's an end in sight! Can't wait to hold my son!

My Birth Plan

I plan to have my baby in a hospital. I have changed my mind to having a drug-free birth, after all. We, as in my midwife, my mom, and I, have decided that it would be better for my health if I avoided an epidural and just had Tristan naturally. I would love to have him at home in our tub, but since he's my first child, a hospital seems to be the safest bet, even if it is on base. I plan to have just my DH and mom there and I'm going to try different birthing positions, hypno-birthing, and I'm going to teach my husband different massage techniques to use on me to help with pain and progression. I refuse to give in to pain meds and I've done TONS of research to help me get ready for the big day. I get more excited the closer we get. Here's to a healthy natural birth!!

I'm so glad to hear your doing great! Oh.. my cheeky monkey has been great at doing things like that lately, she seems to hit the same nerve in my hip and it sends the worst pains down my legs, its not nice lol! Georgia had the hiccups for the very first time on Wednesday night- its utterly adorable eh? :) Well im doing pretty good myself thank you, had a midwife appointment on Wednesday and she said that baby girl is head down ready to engage for birth so that made me so excited! I sound so impatient but I just want my little darling in my arms! 9 months has never seemed such a long amount of time before! Time seems to be dragging :( I have another midwife appt on the 15th of January, have you any appointments coming up? xx

Thank you! Yeah, they are so worth it! However, Georgia is normally so active at night time so I booked my 4d scan for 8:50pm, im not joking you, this one night was the only night she slept! She just lay there fast asleep. The cheeky monkey! We still got to see that she has the same nose as mummy though which is so exciting! I hope all is going well with you, your hubby and baby boy. X
