About Me
Me and my husband decided we were ready for children about two years ago. We were kind of skeptical because I have had endometriosis since i was 15 and have had surgeries to remove the scar tissue which always grows back. This made periods, sex, anything incredibly painful for me. After about 6 months of trying with no luck my gyno did some further testing. It was discovered that i was not ovulating due to the endometriosis. I immediately started Clomid at 25 mg. I took the clomid for about 6 months and finally got pregnant! We were absolutely thrilled. I noticed from the beginning that I was cramping and something didnt feel right. At 8 weeks pregnant I had a ultrasound showing a empty sack (blighted ovum). It was the most devastating news I ever heard. I opted for a d&c and that took place at 9 weeks. I started taking the clomid about 6 weeks later for two rounds and no luck. The OB uped the dosage to 50mg and me and the dh enjoyed just about every day of our fertile week ;). I am now pregnant and have seen and heard my beautiful blessing, a BABY BOY! We struggled and it was hard but to anyone out there trying and relying on fertility treatments, stick with it. We have never been happier.
My Birth Plan
I plan on trying to do a natural vaginal birth and avoid an epidural as long as possible. Using something less invasive to just take the edge off. BUTTT if all else fails I will use the epidural despite how it scares me.
