About Me
My names Alicia and DH is Patrick. We are both 28 years old. We got married on August 8th 2008 and wanted to wait until the time was right to have a baby. Well a year went by and we realized the time will never be right so I went off BCP's from then until March 2010 we were NTNP. We had the baby talk in March and actively tried to conceive. WHen that was unsuccessful, I was given three months of clomid by my obgyn. After no success with that we were referred to a fertility clinic which we went for our first consultation on January 30th 2012. I had an HCG test done, tubes clear but confirmed PCOS which was a possibility from day one. Only took two and a half years to be diagnosed... From there we completed two IUI cycles with Clomid, BFN's! Then we decided to bump it up and started our third IUI cycle using Gonal-F and Lupron this time. This did the trick and I grew four healthy follicles! Got my BFP on July 23rd and am so nervous/anxious/excited! Hopefully this is our sticky bean and I will finally have my own LO in a few short months!Update - Of those four healthy follicles three were fertilized and implanted however only two developed into babies. We are successfully pregnant with twins! :
Our girls were delivered via emergency c-section on February 11th, 2013. Alice weighed in at 3lbs, 15 oz and Julia weighed in at 3lbs, 7oz. Both were 17 inches and are spending some time getting stronger in the Crouse NICU! We can not wait to bring them home!
On 11/10/12 we had an ultrasound that showed we will be having twin GIRLS in March!
