About Me

Aidan is mine and my husband's first child and we're having a little boy. Definitely excited to be welcoming this beautiful little trouble maker into the world. It's a tightly monitored pregnancy due to my type one diabetes, but so far he is perfectly healthy, active and developing exactly as he's meant to. Couldn't be happier.

My Birth Plan

Originally I wanted to have a low-dose/walking epidural, but I was informed that this wasn't offered at the hospital I'm delivering at. Given my high risk status delivering elsewhere would probably be unwise, so it's back to the drawing board for us. Otherwise, we're inducing 2 weeks early to avoid diabetes-related complications.
