About Me

I am a SAHM to one wonderful daughter, Allison, who is 18 months old. We have been trying to conceive wonderful child number two for the past 6 months.

This will be my second sort of high risk pregnancy (my small town OB feels I'm high risk but the big city MFM feels I'm low risk!) I have rheumatoid arthritis and hypermobility syndrome. This means the baby can have growth problems and I can have dislocated joints and pain. I can also get gestational diabetes if I have to take certain medications for too long. I hope this pregnancy goes as smoothly as my first!

My Birth Plan

I will be having a repeat c-section as close to 40 weeks as my OB will allow. My hopes for birth are I am hoping to stay in the hospital as short a time as possible, no morphine, walking ASAP, and baby with me in the recovery room. I have a very short list of things that I must have because I know how quickly a birth plan can change!
