About Me
My husband and I started trying to have a family rather late. We didn't realize there would be problems. After just over a year of not even getting remotely pregnant, our family doctor referred us to a fertility clinic. After a sonohystogram and an HSG, we determined that my uterus was not normal and that one of my tubes was either not connected or completely blocked in some way. Any time I would ovulate on the right side, I would not be able to get pregnant.After starting a lot of medications and trying a lot of things, we were waiting for an ovulation on my 'good' side to try an IUI, the first procedure that would actually cost us money (being in Canada and all) and I was hoping and praying we'd get pregnant before that happened. Amazingly enough, my prayers were answered. My November cycle was on the right side and somehow, we managed to get pregnant!
I hope our miracle baby makes it to term and I'm excited to finally be experiencing pregnancy.
