Oh hun i can understand your sadness about the breastfeeding but in the end the only important thing is that your bubba boy is eating and gaining weight, and these days the formulas are pretty good i think. So good that your hubby can do the treatment with your boy! My little girl Ivy Louisa was 3.3kg and she nearly went to nicu for her blood sugar too ( i had GD) she had to test above 2.5 and she tested 2.4 but thankfully the midwife decided to squeeze a littel more blood out and it gave a reading of 2.6 so she was able to stay with me and they tested her every few hours for the first night and she was fine. She was born with turned in feet as i had very low fluid and a very small bag apparently and it squashed her so we have "physio" to do with her aswell however its funny to call it that as all it really is is a soft stretch of her ankle and then a tickle to the outside of her foot LOL It seems to be improving already!

That's great congrats! He weighed in at 2.6kg and we named him James Michael. He has allergies unfortunately. He had to be placed on formula due to a low glucose test. Then I was mix feeding him and we discovered the allergy. He is on a prescribed formula now! I got really upset cause I wasn't allowed to breast feed... I am over it now because I realize it's best for my baby. He has a bad hip also as it was over his head in the womb but my husband is a chiropractor and it's getting better with treatment. An emergency c section was awful! I have never ever endured so much pain in my life! But well worth it x

Oh wow!! Congrats!! Im sorry you had to go through the emergancy c-section and the special care nursery, so glad it was only the 3 days for you!! I actually ended up being induced at 38 weeks as I had been bleeding for a week and was 4cms dilated and then our towns started flooding so the hospital called me up and asked me to go in. It was a very quick induction, an hour and 45 minutes from start to finish but my baby girl was happy and healthy. How much did your little boy weigh? What did you name him?

Have you had bubby yet after all that preterm labour? I had my baby girl on the 28th of january, so pleased to get to the 38 week mark with her :)
