Quartz3's Pregnancy

About Me

My first pregnancy ended in a termination in 2012 due to the fact that the baby's brain had failed to develop. As if that alone wasn't bad enough, the Genetics Team was not able to tell us for sure whether it was a fluke or we are the unlucky carriers of a genetic condition which would carry a 1 in 4 risk of reoccurring each pregnancy.

However, we were lucky enough to get a beautiful, wonderfully normal baby boy in 2013. So we decided to tempt fate again and got pregnant on our first cycle trying! Now we're crossing our fingers that everything goes well....

Nov. 20 - NT scan : normal!
Jan. 7 - Level 2 ultrasound: normal!
Jan. 12 - Fetal MRI; NORMAL!!!!

We put up our tree today actually and while i have shatter proof plastic balls.. he thinks these are his toys more than ornaments soo that should be interesting!! lol good over here . Getting bigger. lil man is breech so he kicks me down low still measuring almost two weeks ahead and he has since 18 weeks. Growth spurts I guess. Been much more tired this time in the 2nd trimester but I figure its from chasing a toddler around! we went to the hospital tour last night. It was nice. Very different from the USA but nice. made me more excited than anxious. I know with Liam I didn't know what to expect so the unknown freaked me out so i had a lot of anxiety that i don't really have this time so thats nice!
	Comment from knicole27 » Posted Dec. 6, 2014 4:13am bahaha yeah i don't know what it is but we just aren't as "close" in my current birth club like we were in my september club with Liam. I don't know whats up with that... oh well!! how are you doing!? ready for the holidays?!

I finally uploaded new belly pics and new ultrasound pics!! Growing bigger every day. This one unlike Liam is measuring bigger so I'm 24 weeks but look like i did at 26/27 weeks with him! lol
	Comment from knicole27 » Posted Nov. 2, 2014 10:08am we are in that period of gender reveals but.. only a few of us have found out the gender and the other half is team green (keeping it a surprise) so its still been crazy slow and everyone is having girls!! what i so desperately wanted bahahha... no no .. its ok... been feeling the lil man move more lately. He took longer than liam though and he doesn't move as much thats for sure. how are you?!
