About Me

This has been a roller coaster for my hubby and myself, but we are finally SUPER BLESSED to be welcoming baby number 2 into our family. My hubby and I are military and just recently got station in Hawaii. After the move we decided we was going to try for our last child. Unfortunately, this past 6 months Ive had two losses (Angel babies) because the lack of my OBGYN doctors placing me on the right medication needed during the time of pregnancy.
See I have blood clot disorder called Antiphospholipid Syndrome . Antiphospholipid syndrome is a disorder in which your immune system mistakenly produces antibodies against certain normal proteins in your blood. Antiphospholipid syndrome can cause blood clots to form within your arteries or veins as well as pregnancy complications, such as miscarriages and stillbirths.
By anyrate we are happy that after 6 months of trying and miscarrying we are finally PREGNANT with a good future forecast.

When I went in for blood work the next day after testing positive on Jan. 8th, we apprehensive of our first beta at 29 on DPO 10, As we have had low trending numbers before with the previous two miscarriages. Then 48 hours later on DPO 12 to our surprise our BETA HAD MORE THAN DOUBLE TO 85.

Currently I am taking 40 mg of Lovenox injections once a day, one 81 mg of baby aspirin once a day, endometrin twice a day (once in the morning and one in the evening), and finally the normal prenatal vitamins.

I pray that this baby is delivered safely and healthy. Warm wishes to all and happy and healthy nine months.

What a wonderful testimony!!! I can't believe you wrote to me, as I am extremely familiar with Antiphospholipid syndrome...I lost my father and grandmother both to the condition! Thankfully, I do not have it, but due to my own journey with DVT's and pulmonary embolism, I was able to help another friend who has factor 5 to get on a similar therapy to the one you are on, and she has just delivered her 2nd baby using those therapies, after suffering multiple miscarriages in the past! I am just so thankful that you have secured the help that you needed to get the blood thinned enough to carry your baby! Praise God! My husband and I are travelling to Hawaii next week, maybe we will see you on the island-HaHa!! H&H 9 months!!
