About Me

From Vancouver Island, BC, Canada
27 years old
Married Hubby Brent: July 25, 2009
2 Stepsons, 5 and 10 years old
Pregnant with my first, gender a surprise :)

My Birth Plan

I'm using a midwife but will have a hospital birth. My preference is to not have an epidural but am open to laughing gas and maybe some other pain relief, if needed depending how things go. Hoping for less than an hour of pushing - time to put these child bearin' hips to work :) I am a big beleiver in the fear-pain cycle and am gonig to focus on inner strength and confidence to trust my body!

I've heard they can turn babies like that but that its painful..but I guess its better than a c-section..I feel you on that subject...I got diagnosed with marginal previa 2 mnths ago & am facing the same decision..so dont want to be cut open so lets hope this placenta moves :) wish there was someway to make you feel better but I know you are just wanting this done & over with a healthy baby & a natural delivery. Hang in there!!

Time to add another picture to the collection :). Poor thing..I only went over by 6 days before I went into labor, but the doctors here wouldnt let me go over a wk...too much risk of infection...my son came out with jaundice from being overdue so you need to be induced...I know you want nature to take its course but sometimes you have to go a different direction.
