About Me

Tumors preventing conception were surgically removed last August via robotic laparascopy. The hormonal disruption caused a significant imbalance and a four month bleeding episode, further preventing conception. My husband and I completed all the forms to begin our first Clomid and IUI cycle in June, only I never started my period!!! I got pregnant on my first regular period after a long two year fight with my body! I am thankful, grateful, excited and HAPPY. This is my first pregnancy. We are Team Green.

Looking for connections with positive women!

Hi, Yes have scan photo in profile now, i had it on private settings. I loved the 20 week scan. We are going to be going for a private scan later on. I was thinking maybe 30 weeks time just to see how everything is going and to get a video of our little Elizabeth. I was worried my other half wouldn't take it well when i said we were having a boy after we were sure it was. He was abit in shock at first but he is already being protective over her. It's so cute! Daddy's little princess she already is :) Hope your feeling well and baby is doing okay. Are you feeling kicks? I love them- always makes me smile everyday xx

Hiya , it's a baby girl. I was anticipating a boy, just because i had my heart set on a girl, but i would have been happy either way. We are going to call her Elizabeth-May Rose or Ellie-May Rose for short. I may yet change the spelling of Elizabeth to Elisabeth. I can't believe how far up she is. The sonographer said she is well above my belly button. I didn't expect this at 20 weeks. Let me know how your scan goes and if you were right with your gender prediction. xxx

Hi..great to hear all went well at your 16 week appointment! I'm loving the little thuds which are getting much stronger now and more frequent. I'm 18 weeks today. I can't actually believe how quickly it has gone. I'm so excited about the 20 week ultrasound to see how baby is doing. I've used the doppler up until i started feeling movement and it was very reassuring to hear babys heartbeat. I've thought about going for one of these private 3d/4d and video scans which cost about £110 in our area. My other half is away working for my 20 week scan so would like him to be able to come with me at a weekend. Baby is really moving around alot now. It's a lovely feeling. I keep talking to my tummy! It's such a wonderful feeling being pregnant right now. I'm glad week 8-14 wasn't representative of how my whole pregnancy would go. I started a vitamin today- i'm not going to take it everyday as i have a reasonable diet, but occasionally as i'm vegetarian- maybe once a week. Glad your
