Hey! My name is Brooke! I am 22 yrs old. I just found out that I'm pregnant! Still in shock! Took my boyfriend (of 4 years) and I 6 months until we finally get to say we're PREGNANT!!!

Update: We are having a GIRL!!!!!!!

My Birth Plan

I guess I came into this pregnancy not really understanding all there is to labor and birth! Since finding out I have done a lot of reading about pain meds, different position, c-sections, tears...all the fun things!

I have decided that I would like to labor for as long as I can, but then definitely get the lovely epidural that I've heard so much about!

I would like it to only be the doc, nurses, and my boyfriend and I in the room throughout labor and delivery.

I would love to be able to push while in the reclining position. Also no surgical cuts allowed!!!!!

My boyfriend will be cutting the umbilical cord.

Once baby is cleaned off I want the baby to be handed to daddy right away and then to me!

I will then breastfeed as soon as I can.

Would really like no visitors for the first 2 hours.

And I want daddy or I present for everything that happens with baby girl!

I understand that plans can always change, so I will go into labor and delivery with a wish and a open mind!

	Comment from sydmama » Posted Apr. 5, 2012 7:38am Right now i feel like puking lol. Maybe because I am so hungry. Did the nurse mention that it could he a bladder infection or anything? Just super common in early pregnancy. At least the antibiotic will take care of whatever it is. Today i am watching my niece who is 4 months old, and cleaning. I fell so behind on house work when I was working. Then when Daniel gets home I have to finish Easter shopping! I spent 96 dollars in the darn book store yesterday and was too depressed to spend anymore lol! Ugh. But that's my day I suppose.

	Comment from sydmama » Posted Apr. 4, 2012 8:43am I just quit my job at the hotel I was working night audit in because i was staying awake for days and days because as soon as i returned home from work, my husband would have to leave and my kids would wake up. So needless to say, I was super super exhausted. I always napped and hardly had time for my girls. So today I am well rested and taking Norah and Amariah shopping and to lunch. With all that being said, I gotta get off of here. I posted some pics I would love if you check them out. I want to post more later. But i will catch you on here later!! Have a good day mama!
