About Me

This is my second pregnancy. I have a husband of 8 years (I found out on our anniversary!) and we have 2 year old boy who is a little tornado of joy. He was induced a month early due to severe pre-eclampsia. I'm excited for him to get a sibling!

I'm currently working at a company that we are owners/investors in. It was supposed to be part-time but is slowly taking over most of the day. I have a few things to sort out before baby comes.

Right now I'm really enjoying "The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up." I've been ready to do a massive house purge for awhile, so this is a great way to direct any nesting tendencies.

I don't trust this due date - I think it may be a week off. I guess the first scan will let us know!

My Birth Plan

I wanted to do our family reveal on a cruise with all my in-laws at the end of April. Thanks to the Zika virus, it looks like we won't be going so we probably have to tell them before the 12 week mark. So maybe an Easter reveal :)

I don't have a super specific birth plan. After the chaos of my first I realized there's so much you can't plan for and I want to trust my doctor to help us make the right decisions. The only thing I won't have them do is Hep B vaccination at time of birth. I don't see a need for a newborn to get that when neither of us is in the risk category and we're in a clean hospital.

Just like with our first, I don't want to know gender until birth. Boy or girl is wonderful; just hoping for healthy.
