About Me
I currently have two wonderful sons who are eighteen months apart from one another. They are often confused as twins, though, as they look so similarly with their dirty blond hair and the youngest being about the same height as the oldest. They may not understand to the fullest extent what it means when I say that I am pregnant, but they sure do understand what it means when I say another baby is going to be here soon. One wants a brother while the other wants a sister, haha.My Birth Plan
Even with my first two pregnancies, I was quite flexible with what was going on and what would be done with me. I accepted the epidural when it was appropriate and I plan to do the same with this pregnancy come delivery. I definitely want to give birth in the same hospital as my first two. I love my doctor and the staff at St. Francis Medical Regional Hospital. My only wishes have been that no other people than my husband, the doctor and nurses be in the room. I absolutely refuse to allow any medical students to come watch me during labor and it’s nothing personal against them. The spite comes from a terrible experience with my first pregnancy. A clinic thought I was experiencing an ectopic pregnancy and sent me to another hospital to be examined as we were in another city at the time. The doctor was a completely unprofessional jerk and had medical students watch me during everything without asking my consent or giving me any choice over anything.
So, never again.
