| If we had conceived a girl, this was always the only choice of name I had for her. I am a musician and a piano teacher and I've always wanted to name a girl Melody. It's a pretty name and not uncommon. Elise is from the song "Fur Elise", one of my favourites to play. | |||

| This was one of the first boy names we were considering. Eryk is spelled this way because my husband is from Poland and we wanted to honour it. Allister was my husband's choice of middle name. It's a Scottish name and I have Scottish ancestry. | |||
