Gabriel Joseph 's Birth Story

My water broke while nursing my DD before bed at 7:30. Started getting contractions about 3 minutes a part close to midnight so we left. Started driving and then they tapered off. So we sat in the car for 2 hours not really much more happening so we decided to just go inside and then they tapered off even more. I stayed at 4 cm till they gave me pitocin at 7 am. Not much happened. So they increased pitocin around 8/9 and by 10 ish I was getting that pressure to push. I was allowed to breathe him out slowly rather then the violent pushing that I've experienced with past doctors and it was controlled and much easier for me and my body. Did still have hemorrhaging issues but we were prepared and they stayed on top of it. We are very blessed and thankful for another little life joining our family.

Thanks Angela! Total surprise! Looks like Phoebe might get a little brother or sister this spring. Crazy, huh? I turn 45 tomorrow too. Talk about medical miracle! Hoping it's a sticky bean and thankful for it at all, even if we weren't trying. We get to be pregnant together again!!
