Declan Scott's Birth Story
After no progress at my 40 week appointment I made an appointment for induction if I made it to 40 weeks 5 days. Sure enough he was very comfy in there. They started pitocin at 10 am. The contraction did not bother me and I was talking and laughing through them for the first 5 hours. They broke my water 3 hours in and the contractions were LESS painful than previously for the next 2 hours. Then the contractions had gotten pretty painful and close together. At 7 pm they checked the progress and I was an 8. 30 minutes later I was ready to push. I pushed for about 5 minutes and he was here. Perfectly content and beautiful!
