Went to the OB this afternoon. Was still dilated to 2.5 cm, 70% effaced. My Ob is sending me to the hospital at midnight for a medicine to thin/dilate me some more. Then at 6am tomorrow we will start Pitocin. 7am she will break my water, then we will be on our way. She said the midnight medicine might trigger contractions. She seems really excited about it. We had one last BPP today. Maggie scored 8/8. So everything looks good to go!
I’m still more excited than anything. I even tried watching videos of women giving birth—still more excited. My husband though, even after 4 precious kids, started getting sick after she told us what time everything was going to happen. I couldn’t figure out why he had started gagging so I asked him after the ob left the room and he said “Suddenly it all seemed very real.” Poor thing! Lol!
Anyway, unless something comes up maybe next update will be baby announcement! Please send me and Maggie positive thoughts and prayers! We appreciate it!
