16wk midwife appointment :)

Today's 16wk appointment was well worth it - the midwife asked me if i wanted her to try and find baby's heartbeat and I said yes....she didnt think she would be able to find it this early but she did and it was an amazing experience to hear the little ticking of baby's heart :) It was all normal and everything is good so i am relieved and happy... xx

	Comment from magicmikki23 » Posted Oct. 20, 2012 3:59pm I had a scan at 12wks but u couldnt make out any details on the baby's face etc so I cant wait for the 20wk one which will be in about 3wks and my partner will b there too and he loves it :) x

I couldn't take my eyes off the screen! Getting to see her little face, her hands, feet, everything is magical. It brought tears to my eyes knowing that little human is all mine!
	Comment from magicmikki23 » Posted Oct. 20, 2012 4:18am Hi, yh she was using one the hand-held ones...maybe she just didnt want to get my hopes up and then not be able to find it? I dont know but at least she did and I am much happier knowing that baby is ok in there.... I heard my heartbeat first and then she moved it accross a bit and out came this little one that was twice as fast as mine - it was pure magic :) Im glad u and ur baby were ok after the accident xxx
	Comment from avereemorgan1119 » Posted Oct. 19, 2012 7:12pm I'm suprised she told you she wasn't sure if she'd find it... was she using a doppler? I was in an accident at 9w5d and they VERY suprisingly found my daughter's heartbeat, and again at 13 or 14 weeks! Regardless, nothing better than hearing that sweet little ticking of the heart!
