Names!!!!

So this is my husband and I's first baby and both of us have strong opinions when it comes to our babies name. But for a boys name we were able to agree on a name very quickly. We both love the show supernatural and our favorite character is Dean. So we have decided if we have a boy his name will be Dean. His middle name will be Albert after my grandfather who passed away last march. My grandfather was an amazing man and even flew half way across the country to be at my wedding even though he was dying from cancer. When it came to girls names my husband and i couldnt agree on anything. He liked the names Samantha and Destiny. While i liked the names Aubrey and Ashlyn. Then out of no where he says he like the name Lexus. Its cute but its a car! So since i like girl names that start with A we made a compromise, Alexis! We both like it a lot! Her middle name would be Meta, which is a name thats been passed down through three generations in my family. Its german, pronounced May-ta, and means pearl. Well i am relived we finally have our names!!! Now on to getting everything else ready!

I remember trying to discuss with DH names for baby and I loved Aubrey for a little girl.. he hated it! We were pretty convinced we were having a boy because for some reason we agreed on the name Theo almost from the word go but could not find a girls name we both liked so we thought "it's a sign!" anyway- Nope I'm now 34 weeks with a girl! GL! xx |
