Wow how time has flown. I can't believe we're only 1-2 weeks away from meeting you. I say that only because I feel like you'll be here a few weeks early. At my last doctor's appointment on Christmas Eve, I was already 60% thinned and 1-2 cm dilated and I can't wait to find out how much closer we are to meeting you at my doctors appointment this week! My biggest goal is to make it to 37 weeks cause I believe the risk of any developmental complications is greatly gone at that point. I can't remember if I told you that the doctor said I have a large placenta, which usually indicates a large baby, which is also why I'm thinking you'll be here a little early. Hopefully, you're nice and healthy but not too big. I'm sure when I hold you in my arms you will be the perfect size. And, I think we are 99% set on the name Colton. I'm not even sure how we went from Tristian, to Trent, to Colton, but we were throwing around different names and your daddy said "Cole" and since it was close to Christmas it made me think "coal" so I was like maybe Colton and your daddy loved it. We've been trying to prepare your sister by letting her talk to you and constantly talking about her "baby brother" who will be with us soon. I still don't think she has a clue about what's about to happen. She just thinks mommy's big belly is named "baby brother". You've definitely dropped down a bit and your movements are full on rolls, and elbows and feet. It's a lot harder to get sleep now for sure, and you love to get moving in the middle of the night so if I do happen to wake up (whether from comfort, restroom, or your sister) you think it's time to get going and it's so difficult to go back to sleep. I'm hoping that doesn't mean you're going to be a night owl but I know almost all babies are so I guess you're also just preparing me. We only have a few more things to tidy up and set up before your arrival and we can't wait to meet you son. We love you.
