10 & 11 months!

Whew, the last couple of months have been crazy. At the beginning of November we started on a major remodel, which was supposed to take 4 days and ended up leaving us living with no flooring on our entire main floor for over a month... what a nightmare! Bare subfloors and no furniture with a new walker and a busy toddler at home all day was stressful to say the least, so between that and an impromptu trip with the kids to South Dakota for Thanksgiving (solo, C "didn't feel" like driving), followed by all the holiday shenanigans, I didn't get a chance to get on here at all.

Nina is crazy as ever, it's amazing to see this tiny little person just go, nothing can hold her back! She's pretty sure she's turning 4 instead of 1, and is very insistant that it's her way or the highway... I've never seen a baby who can't even talk boss around a toddler before! Max thinks she's hilarious and is such a good sport about it, which is good because she absolutely adores him. We did end up having to move them into separate rooms permanently because Nina SLEEPS THROUGH THE NIGHT! Max still doesn't do that regularly at almost 3 (we are now dealing with night terrors, which is awesome :/ ), so having a child who actually sleeps is foreign and fairly miraculous concept for me. She eats like a grown man, we're pretty confident she's completely hollow, as we can think of no their explanation of how such a tiny body can contain so much food! She's starting to talk more and more, she says "hi," "what's that," "no no no" (complete with a wagging finger), "baby," and "ta da" very clearly, which is a ridiculously random assortment and so totally her in every way!

I can't believe that in just 3 weeks our tiny little baby is going to be one, where has the time gone?!

Awww...what a feisty little girl! She's adorable! So glad she's sleeping through the night. I know what a blessing that is. Hopefully big brother will soon too :) So glad to hear from you!

Haha! She sounds like a real character! I'll bet she'll keep ya on your toes! My little guy (Andy jr.) still has sleep issues also, not real major issue, but a little, and for us he's having some weird separation anxiety, and I think he's getting scared of the dark. Not sure about night terrors yet. At least she's sleeping for you :). Such a cutie!
