Ultrasound

Forgot to write in the journal on Dec 15th. Went to Fetal Fotos for my 8 week ultrasound. I was so nervous. The place and staff were awesome, though. I saw my baby for the first time. It was like a gummy bear. I couldn't hear the heartbeat, they don't listen to heartbeats there, but I saw the heart flickering and it made me so relieved. They also made us a dvd from that appointment, I can look at my baby any time I want. Next appointment is with the doc at 11 weeks exactly. Praying it keeps developing properly. Any Ramzi theory guesses? (Abdominal u/s).

I think we are going to feel a slight pang of disappointment either way since this our last, but we kinda wanted 2 girls and a boy. But we will be happy either way. I think DH is sort of starting to really like the idea of having a little boy, we always said we wanted one of each. And then DD came along and we really love being girl parents and would love for DD to have a little sister to do girl things with... so IDK. lol We also are in love with the boy name and the girl name we picked out so... that's a tough question. But I guess the short answer would have been not really.
