Baby Shower... ?

Anyone is doing a baby shower with the second kid? My first is a girl, and now expecting a boy. Would you do one if you have one kid already even though a different gender?
I'm 30 weeks and no one has even mentioned a baby shower to me, so not expecting it, really, just curious. I would just like to celebrate the coming of the baby.

I had a lot of people (if not all women) show up from my church/neighborhood haha. But this is our second, so don't think my MIL would even say anything.
