It's a Boy!
By HzlGreenEyes » Posted Aug. 4, 2015 7:06pm - 527 views - 23 comments

I am overwhelmed with emotions after finding out we are having another Boy! I guess I can be considered a King Maker since this is the 3rd!!! Preston is ecstatic and so happy he will be having another Baby Brother. In his optimism, he said he hopes that this one we can take home. He amazes me how he grasps the world...

Okay, thanks for the information. Maybe this is what I'm getting ready to have. The said they'll do an ultrasound to look at the fold in the back of the babies neck, and take a blood sample from me. Does that sound like the same thing?

Also the harmony test is supposed to be the most accurate and the least invasive test for trisomy 13,18 and 21, that is why my doc did it this time around no questions asked.

@proudmamaerica I'll send you some vibes!
@sailorswife, I also had the harmony test done which looks for the Y chromosome. I had that done as well as the blood tests they take at the NT scan because I am high risk this time around. Check with your insurance, they may cover the test. I know mine does cause I had it done at 16 weeks with Connor when I asked about it and the doc did it and I wasn't charged. But if your insurance doesn't cover it, I saw someone post that the harmony company will pay a portion and only charge $200-$300.

Congratulations on you new King ;) I'm curious, I am going in for the same scan test at 12 weeks that you had. What other test were you able to take so early to tell you the gender?
