Mucus Plug
By HzlGreenEyes » Posted Jan. 8, 2016 10:42am - 634 views - 7 comments

Yesterday was a very long day. Our township Police officers laid to rest their Brother who passed away from Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. It took his life after 7 weeks of being diagnosed. He was my Husband's room mate for 12 years (Since they Graduated the Academy together). I only lived with him for 2 years since he decided to find a place of his own after my Husband and I got married.
Needless to say with anxiety, crying and standing on my feet... I lost pieces of the mucus plug last night as I was leaving the repass. I was walking to my car when I felt wetness down my leg. I didn't feel any contractions but I did feel lightning crotch. I got home and I said to my mother (she was watching my son for me) that I thought I was leaking. She almost panicked and she kept talking through the door of the bathroom that even if I started labor now, that Mathew would be ok. I checked and it was just a lot of discharge (white) with pieces of clear blobs. Whew! Thank you GOD! I took a shower after that and I laid down to rest. I noticed a few more pieces this morning and more bouts of lightning crotch. I hope he stays in until my induction date, but if he does come sooner, it will be a welcoming surprise in this gloomy time.

Sorry for your loss. I'm still on here following you :) Hopefully he stays in there until your induction. Just wanted to send best wishes your way. When I was pregnant with Rayna I started losing my plug at 34 weeks and she was born 39 weeks, if that helps any!

I am so sorry for the passing of your friend. Cancer is so unfair... But please pass along my thanks to your husband for serving the community. It takes special folks to be civil servants and few people realize how crucial they are. I'm glad it was only your plug (it can regenerate if he's not ready) but I can't wait to see how cute he's going to be either!

Sorry for your loss! Hopefully Mathew will stay put a little longer but if he's ready then he's ready, haha.

Sorry for you loss. That's so hard. Hopefully your plug will grow back and give you a couple more weeks. However, at least you are at 35 weeks just in case something does happen. I have faith your little man will be just fine :)

Even if he comes now he's doing it on his own time which means he is ready! My ex sister in law had her son at 35 weeks and he was perfectly healthy. This means you're close!
