Baby Martin is here!!!

So finally at 39W 5D my baby boy was born. It all started one day earlier. I went to my weekly appointment with my Dr. and he told me that it was very likely this baby would not come out alone. I had 0 dilatation and baby wasn't engaged. He told we would give me just a couple of days but that we should start programing a C-Section. I went to lunch with my hubbie and I was a little sad it would all end in C-section. I started to feel strange and told my husband but he told me it may be the stress. At about 7pm I started to feel a little sick as if there was something wrong with my stomach. I went to bed and about 2 am a strong contraction woke me up. 10 minutes later another contraction and then my water broke. An hour after that I lost the mucus plug. I arrived the hospital at 6 am. Started with very strong contractions. I was hopping to have a drug free birth but I could only bare it until I reached 6cm. That was at about 2 pm. The dr told me that this baby was still very high and hadn't engaged. Also he was facing upwards. By 2:41 my son was born with a C-Setion. I had 12 hrs of labor and I must say I never thought it would hurt that bad. The last hour before the epidural I was having one contraction above the other. I had no time to rest between them. It as 100 times more painful than I have ever thought.
The good thing is that my baby is now here with me. We are both very healthy and he is so qute and handsome!
