I don’t have a sono pic to post for today because she would not cooperate so I figured I’d post here.
2 week update. No sono pics today as she did not want to cooperate. Sleeping head down and facing back.So we couldn’t get a profile shot at all. Bleed went from 4.2 cm x 1.41 cm x 4.16 cm 12.9 cc to 6 cm x 2 cm x 1 cm 11 cc. Still there...kind of was expecting it to have gone down half way again but that’s ok. Follow up again in 2 weeks.
Edit to add: I talked with doc delivering this baby and she said in her 30 years of doing this she has only delivered 2 babies that needed nicu and didn’t get to go home with patient at 36 weeks. Gives me some hope. She also said due to covid I may not be able to get steroid shot so I’m hoping they still allow for that for her lungs. She also said boys are more prone for nicu not sure why but interesting to know.
And I should get c section date early January !

 | Comment from calvingirl » Posted Dec. 21, 2020 7:57pm I got induced at 37 wks with Phoebe and she was born vaginally no problem. No NICU and she stayed with me the whole time. Within 36 hrs, we were home together. She was tiny, but everything was great and we didn't need the steroid shot either. Good luck! |
