I had my 20 week check up yesterday, and everything went well. My AFP tetra bloodwork came back perfect! My baby has no risk of having down syndrome, and i'm not a carrier of cystic fibrosis either :)
Claires heartbeat was at 133bpm
They're scheduling another U/S since at the anatomy scan they couldn't get the whole checklist completed. I'm perfectly fine with that, just means i get to see my beautiful daughter again :) Hoping to get a better shot of her sex!! She was fussy and had her legs crossed most the time, but she flashed us ONE good shot and the sonographer said it's not 100% but, it's looking like a girl. So, im still praying it's a girl :p Hopefully she cooperates better next time!!
I asked about the birthing tubs- the hospital i'll be delivering doesn't offer birthing tubs :/ but they said they have showers i can spend as much time in as i want (during labor) ... not sure it'll have the same effect as a tub though :/ So i'm still planning on spending my first stage of labor in the tub at home with the jets on.
With my next baby i will be delivering in a birthing center in a tub, we just don't have the extra money for it now. It's okay, i can wait :)
