Some ladies at work are throwing me a baby shower next Wednesday :) I'm super duper excited!
My REAL baby shower is this SUNDAY!!! I can't wait to see what the baby and I get!!
My mother in law came by yesterday and grabbed ALL the baby clothes i've been given and is going to wash them and drop them back off sometime this week :)
ALSO, she got a BEAUTIFUL carseat from a garage sale- it's a tan/gold color and just looks VERY girly and vintage, it's absolutely perfect :) She also brought over a bag of clothes and a few baby blankets, and an activity floor mat with some new toys to dangle from the top-or from the carseat handle :)
My other mother in law (DH step mom) messaged me on facebook and said they just sent a big box of baby gifts in the mail today, so I should be getting that within the next few days!
Tonight I have a chiropractor appointment- THANK GOD, because this sciatica is just KILLING me, i can hardly walk if i've been sitting for 5 minutes or more- which sucks because i have to sit ALL day at work, I'm in agony by the end of the day.. :( I hope the doctors take me out of work 2 weeks before my due date..i really really really do hope so, if that's the case, i only have 2 more full weeks of work. ONLY 2. I can do that.
Wednesday night I'm going to be going to my mothers house and helping out with baby shower favors and getting decorations ready. That should be fun :)
My baby shower cake is going to be one of those baby bump cakes with the little baby foot poking out :) it's going to be adorable, and i can't wait to see how it turns out!!
Lots of exciting things happening this week!! Can't wait till Sunday! Or next Wednesday!! :) :) :)

Getting stuff is so exciting and makes it more real to have all the items laying around your house and getting the room ready. Be careful with the used carseat. Unless you know the whole history of the carseat and are able to find out if it's ever been in anything other than a minor wreck, I would be very cautious. Check for recalls and all. Better safe than sorry! :) |
