21 Weeks 5 Day - Post Dr Appts

Doctor appointments are all finished! I saw the OB yesterday. My weight has stayed the same since I was weighed 2 weeks ago, so yea, no more loss! My blood pressure was great. Baby Maggie's heart rate was 160. My OB reassured me about movement and my lack of bump. She is pleased and optimistic that everything is going well.
Today DH and I went to the MFM. I kept telling DH that he didn't have to go, but he went anyway. I knew that at the last appointment they couldn't get Maggie in a good spot to have the full anatomy scan. I was a little concerned that she might be somehow "stuck" near my pubic bone. No worries though. Maggie was sitting breech today. We got a great shot of her frontal face and profile for once! And most importantly they were able to properly scan her brain and heart. Everything looked great. I talked to my MFM about my concerns about the "debris" we saw with the cervical scan last time. She said that it was really nothing to worry about as long as my cervix isn't short, and it isn't. She said my cervix is nice and long and closed. So Maggie and I are set for 2 weeks. Then we go BACK to the MFM for a size scan. Right now they are checking her size measurements every other visit, which surprised me. At this point in pregnancy, with pre-existing diabetes, the biggest risk is Maggie growing too big. But I trust the MFM, so far she has been excellent.

Oh, and I'm feeling Maggie everyday now. At minimum 1 time, 5-6 maximum. I LOVE it! :)

I hope your other dr is great! Mine is all business but she is kind and knowledgeable and so far has done an excellent job managing mine and Maggie’s care. She has helped me keep my blood sugars under super tight control.

That's so exciting!! Glad you like your MFM. I've only been to one appt. of mine and I loved the doctor, but she said she wasn't going to be the one to handle my case, so I hope the other one is as good.

I’m ready! I can tell her position has changed though. Earlier in the week the movements felt toward my front, they feel toward the bottom today. I love it!
