Caroline is Four Months Old!

Sorry I haven’t posted sooner, we just got back from a long vacation in Panama City Beach. It was our first as a family of four and it was wonderful but it’s time to get back to reality. I can’t believe my little Caroline has been four months old for two weeks now. *Sniffle* Which means we’re well on our way to five months. She is still the flipping happiest, easiest baby I’ve ever met and she’s already more than doubled her birth weight (she hasn’t had her four month checkup yet due to scheduling issues with the pediatrician). She is sitting with assistance, is so close to conquering ambi-rolling, and loves to be stood up. She is still a nosey little thing and insists on seeing everything that goes on around her, especially Sebastian’s antics (there’s plenty of those to always be seen *Snort*). She is beginning to get pretty long strands growing on top of her gorgeous little head and it looks like she’s going to be blonde, though it’ll still be a while before she can rock clips, and our breastfeeding is still going very strong. I’m proud to say, despite my struggles with my son, I have been able to nurse my daughter exclusively ((she’s probably used five bottles in her lifetime even for said breast milk). I don’t say this to brag because I know some woman aren’t so lucky; I give this testimony as proof that every pregnancy and every experience is different, even in the same woman, so never give up a cause as lost. But Care has now experienced the ocean and the pool for the first time as well as been out of state. I’m doing my best to soak up all her special moments since they will be my last with my babies. *Sigh* As it happens, my darling boy turned five-and-a-half in June and starts kindergarten in less than a month. How is that even possible? And it’ll be his sister’s turn before we know it! My husband celebrated nine years together last week and a year since I found out I was pregnant again on the 30th! Time waits for no one indeed. But I believe that is really all that is new with us right now. DeWayne finally had a phone interview for the (hopefully) new job but it’s likely to be another week before he hopefully gets called in for an in person interview. Keep us in your prayers, please. I hope everyone is doing well!
