Man! I give women who have been through 1 or multiple c sections ALOT of props!! My stomach is still killing me. I don't remember my uterus hurting this much from natural labor.
Well Ms Laylah Grace is officially one week old. Man, time really does fly! We are finally getting some normalcy around these parts. With my mom being in the hospital as well it has made recovery non existing. Spring break is upon us as well so that gives me a little bit more of a challenge! Going from 3 to 4 has definetly been a real challenge. Nothing that can't be handled but I see it will not be easy. Laylah is being a great baby so far. She is full of sleep, poop and breastmilk at this point. My 18 month old is testing the waters as well with her. He sees she is here to stay! Lol.
All in all, things are great! I am officially done having children. In the back of my kind there is some regret on the tubal but 4 is plenty & what is done is done. I am ready to get back to working out and taking trips when we get a little older. My family is finally complete!

Comment from lala_0412 » Posted Mar. 21, 2016 9:36pm Thank you ladies!! She was definetly worth every pain. It just goes to show even if you think you have perfect birthing plans those things can go right out the window!!
Comment from Amanda_McDaniel » Posted Mar. 21, 2016 1:40pm So that old adage about 'What difference could one more make?' is a lie all around, huh? Lol. I'm sorry you're hurting, sweetie, but it definitely gets you BA credit. Hah! Super woman status when you've had four kids and a cesarean. But she's beautiful and totally worth it! Good job.
Comment from pbc910 » Posted Mar. 21, 2016 10:01am Congratulations! C-sections are no joke...the first 2 days is the weirdest pain and feeling. I remember trying to get up and felt like someone was slicing my stomach. I bet you'll feel better in no time. By a week, I felt almost back to normal, well enough to drive and do everything I wasn't supposed to do!
Comment from Sailorswife » Posted Mar. 20, 2016 10:54pm Congrats on your complete family!!! Laylah is beautiful, and I love her little bow! So stylish already! I hope your recovery is an easy one and your uterus begins to calm it down with the pain already. I'm so glad she's being an easy baby! |
