Well, OK, as I am typing this I am at 30w 3d...but I actually meant to type this a few days ago...

Well, I failed my 3 hr Glucose test :(

So I had to go to the Diabetes Management Center and talk to the nurse there. Thankfully, so far, it looks like I am borderline and only need to watch what I eat and cut back on the carbs. But ugh, what a pain in the ass. I will find out more on Wednesday when the Perinatologist looks at my sugar levels and lets me know if I need to do more. A couple of times they have been above the normal but they have also been way below at times too.

I pray I don't need to be put on insulin. I already have to shoot myself with Lovenox every night. Now I have to prick my finger 4 times a day. Already starting to feel like a pin cushion. I really don't want to have to inject myself with anything else.

On the bright side...

We started our Getting Ready for Labor and Delivery classes last Monday. It a set of 3 classes on Monday nights. And we got a tour of the labor and delivery center.

My sister in laws are throwing me a baby shower on Feb 6th! So that is something to look forward to.

I have been pretty bad about going to my Prenatal Yoga class though. Hopefully, the weather will behave and I will be able to go to the class again before I deliver. It's crazy to know how fast time is going by. Only 2 months left. I know in theory I should be saying 2 1/2 months but I will be induced a week or so early.

It sucks to have to prick yourself 4 times a day. I know the pain second hand as my husband is diabetic. All you really need to do is focus on eating less carbs and sugars and it's not to bad controlling it. I hope your classes are good. I liked mine but I took so many they became repetitive but I particularly enjoyed getting a tour of the hospital.
