How much bigger am I going to get?? :/
By CaityMarie_ » Posted Oct. 7, 2015 5:38pm - 494 views - 5 comments

I know it happens to almost everyone, but some days strangers will come up to me and comment on my bump. Some days it's "Oh my you're in your sixth month?! You can't even tell you're that far!!!"
And then other days people(more commonly our families) say things like "WOW! you're HUGE already!! And you're going to get even bigger!!".
Needless to say, this gives me really bad anxiety. Mainly because I already feel huge... And then to have people who are close to me throw it in my face, makes it a little worse :(

Also, I had my Glucose/other blood tests today. Should have my results in a couple of days.
My lord, that stuff tasted awful.
Note to self: Lemon-Lime was not a good choice. It wasn't even so much the taste, just the nasty acid like sensation. Blehhh!

Once again, I love you ladies & this site :)
ALWAYS makes me feel a bit better.
Oh and MalPal85- I usually just google "pregnancy memes" along with key words of what I'm feeling, lol.

And I totally failed the test >:(

Agreed - you look great! It's so hard to figure that out...I've been wondering too how big I am going to get only because of having two. I'm already big so I was always concerned about what I was going to look like pregnant. I still struggle with wondering if I look pregnant or just really fat. I was so happy the other day when for the first time, someone specifically asked me a question related to me being pregnant. I get so many comments. Some days I look fabulous according to coworkers and they can't believe I'm almost 8 months pregnant. Then other days, I hear I am enormous. The only silver lining for me is that being super preggo is making me appreciate my former, flabby stomach!

1st off... don't listen to other people. Everyone carries differently and every pregnancy is different. Last time I was carrying small and everyone kept telling me I look AMAZING for being in my 9th month but little did we know it was because my son stopped growing at 32 weeks. It was not a good situation. So if you are carrying "normal" as I like to say, it means everything is working the way it should. You will be able to loose the weight and shape up afterwards. I am here in my 2nd year of pregnancy in effort to give my son a sibling and my hubby his flesh and blood child and although I am not happy about my body, I shut up the skinny bitch inside me and told her to wait her turn. Just let those comments roll off you shoulder, people say stupid shit all the time because they have no sense. You look great Mama!

Where do you find all these great pics?! I get the same reaction from people. Some people say I look like I'm ready to pop and others say I look great and not big. I think it all depends on what you wear. I have this one maternity shirt that I think makes me look 9 months pregnant no matter how far along I am because people always comment when I wear it and the funny thing is is that I have the same exact shirt in a different color and no one says anything. I didn't mind the fruit punch flavored drink but that's probably why I failed the 1 hour and almost failed the 3 hour glucose test. Good luck with the results!

The acid taste is there to stop your body from rejecting all that sugar, otherwise you'd throw up. I hated the lemon too, bleurgh... Fingers crossed you pass :-)
I have days when I feel massive, too; so when my mother points it out it doesn't feel so good :-( I think relatives are the worst for thinking it's okay to say something, like being family makes them immune from offending you in some way. A snappy retort usually shuts my lot up ;-)
