Well I wanted to have a dent in planning by week 20 and we do. We are keeping the carpet, and picked out paint for the wall. We also decided on furniture and I've started clearing my closets and consigning whatever I can. The big job once things are cleared out will be the painting itself. Not looking forward to that. So last weekend was my little sister's bachelorette party in the Poconos, PA. Was worried that it was going to be tough to attend while pregnant and that I would not be fun. But I had an absolutely wonderful time with my sisters and her friends. It was just 7 of us, and we laughed harder than I have in a long time, so many times! Like ab pain laughter. I guess I don't need alcohol to have fun, although it depends on who I am with and where I am. When I'm with my sisters we are definitely sober goofballs so it is not required. We did a lot of fun activities - hit up the local casino, went kayaking, and lots of swimming and walking. I am so relieved that I survived it! AND especially considering the house we rented had NO AC!!! Baby boy was honored to be the only male at the bachelorette party :):):)
