Preeclampsia again

Well for the third time, I have preeclampsia. Yep. I went in for my biophysical profile and Doppler last Friday morning. The Doppler was slightly elevated meaning the baby isn’t getting quite as many nutrients through the umbilical cord as he needs. He can stay in for now because he’s at least getting something and continuing to grow (up fo 2 pounds 6 ounces from an estimated 1 pound 11 ounces 2.5 weeks ago). They checked my blood pressure, and it was 153/110. So I was sent to the high risk inpatient unit for the weekend. They did my 24 hour urine protein and it was 1100 (supposed to be under 300). I was put on a magnesium sulfate IV to help protect the baby’s brain in case of delivery. They also use that to treat blood pressure. It makes me feel like my insides are burning/miserable. My blood pressures were sometimes normal and sometimes pretty high, but not elevated enough to warrant further IV treatment. So I got to go home last night. I’m going in 2x per week for monitoring. The high risk dr was going to send me to the other hospital where my regular OB, but she turned over care to them after the high blood pressure reading. I was kind of mad because one of the reasons I went to her in the first place was she advertised herself online as being experienced with and comfortable with high risk pregnancies and offered medication management for high blood pressure. That was completely not true. As soon as even the littlest thing looked questionable on an ultrasound, she sent me out. 1 high blood pressure reading and she turned over my care. I’m in better hands now though. The 4 MFMs at my new hospital are all super kind. I just hope I can continue outpatient management so I can stay home with my 2 little ones. Ironically, I’m now being cared for at the hospital I was born in as a 33 weeker. It sucks, but it’s also in my hometown where my mom still lives.
Anyway I need so many prayers that I can get this little guy to 37 weeks. It’s still possible. Provided my preeclampsia doesn’t become severe, he stays in. If my preeclampsia gets severe, he’s out at 34 weeks. If his Dopplers get worse, he’s coming out immediately. I’ve gone the preemie route twice before. Was hoping my 3rd (and definitely now my last pregnancy :( would be different. But I’m less afraid this time. Anyway, take care, ladies. I’ll keep you updated.
