Help! need some advise: Don't know the gender, but really really want a girl

Okey basically we decided on not finding out the gender until birth this time, but now I am soooo incredibly anxious about the gender of this baby. Yes I know that I will love the baby no matter what, that is not the issue here. I am just afraid that I am dreaming so much about this daughter in my belly that I am afraid that I might get disappointed at birth. Need some advise from you on this matter. Should I just go get a private ultrasound just to find out already and get over my disappointment fast now before birth? I keep buying girly items an almost feel like this have to stop NOW if it turns out to be a boy. What would you do??

Comment from emma_grey » Posted Mar. 28, 2018 10:51am If I was at your place, first of all, I won’t expect so much. Then it’s up to GOD whether a girl or a boy will have born. I suggest you not to lose hope. Disappointment is not a solution to anything. Believe in yourself as self-confidence will help you to build yourself. So, be yourself and hope for the best! | |

Comment from babylove14 » Posted Mar. 26, 2018 9:01am I would only buy neutral stuff or just go ahead and find out. With me third we expect a girl, then were told a bot at the next ultrasound. It was definitely an adjustment to expect one and get the other (he is my third son) so it would be easy to adjust while pregnant. If you are still going to wait until birth, I would suggest you prepare for both possibilities and not get too excited for a girl just in case. |
