Today was crazy...

I had a busy day today. Two doctor's appt plus appt with registration for my kids to go to school next year. I had an ultrasound to check my baby's size. I have a history of small babies but gestational diabetes can cause babies to be large so I was interested in seeing how this goes. While she is measuring bigger than my other babies did around this time, she's slightly on the smaller side. This means I get to see my baby one more time before birth. The fear with her being big is also because I'm doing a VBAC. My doctor said I'm still an excellent candidate for a vbac. My blood pressure is still great. My blood sugars are still great without medicine. I left the hospital very please. As we are driving home, we are exciting on the highway towards a different highway. A gray SUV cuts in front of the car in front of us and slams full speed into the barrier on the side bouncing her car backwards and causing her to face oncoming traffic. The car in front of us kept going and my husband pulled over. Both passengers limp out of the car. One couldn't stand and sat on the ground. The other woman had cuts on one leg and couldn't move the other leg. Both complained of head pain. My husband said the one who couldn't walk ankle looked BAD. I called 911 and so did one other person. I never thought about how scary it looks for me being visibly pregnant on the scene of an accident until a firefighter came to check me. I'm extremely thankful we weren't involved and that my husband and I could help. I'm praying for the two women who got hurt.

I’m glad your Drs appointments went well and so glad you are safe! That must have been so scary and sad to be right there at the accident.
